According to some credible sources within the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), venues for the upcoming Test and T20I series against South Africa in January 2021 are almost confirmed.

The Men in Green will return from their tour of New Zealand on January 12 and the Test series is going to start on the 26th of January at the National Stadium Karachi.

The two teams will fly to Lahore for the 2nd Test match of the series and the tour will eventually end with the T20I series being played in Rawalpindi.

The South African Cricket board is going to send a delegation to Pakistan in the next couple of weeks and they will review the SOPs and bio-secure bubble that is put in place by the PCB.

It is important to mention that the remaining PSL-V matches are going to start from the 14th of November and Zimbabwe’s tour of Pakistan is scheduled to start on the 30th of October. Meanwhile, the visit of South African delegation can be expected during this period.

The two boards had to cancel their October series due to the Pandemic and the PCB is now looking to host South Africa in January 2021 and tour the same country after the conclusion of the sixth edition of the PSL.
