Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan made a big name for himself in the world of cricket at a very young age. The 21-year old starred in the T20 leagues all over the world before donning the blue jersey of his nation.

Rashid has revealed that Pakistan's former all-rounder Shahid Afridi and Indian bowler Anil Kumble inspired him to represent his own country while growing up.

“It motivated me and gave me the energy that one day I will represent my country,” said Rashid.

“I think the biggest achievement (for Afghanistan) should be, right now, what the team is looking for, what the country is expecting is, to win the T20 World Cup,” he added.

The premier cricketer is currently the top-ranked T20 bowler in the ICC rankings and has been leading the race for some time now. He is all set to represent Sunrisers Hyderabad in the upcoming 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
