Pakistani fast-bowler Hasan Ali is currently out of the national team due to his back injury that was picked by the paceman during the ICC World Cup 2019 last year.

Since then, he has featured in a couple of domestic tournaments including the PSL until he was forced to take a break.

However, the latest developments suggest that the pacer is recovering quickly from his injury and is set to make a comeback to competitive cricket before the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2020-21 season that starts in late October.

Also, there are fewer chances of Hasan featuring in the home series against Zimbabwe because he hasn’t played international cricket for quite some time. The management might look to give him some domestic experience before he’s finally called back to the national team.

On the other hand, opening batsman Ahmad Shahzad is struggling to recover quickly from his thumb injury and according to the latest situation, it is going to take six to eight weeks for his wound to heal completely. In this case, Shahzad may not be able to feature in a major part of the domestic season.
