Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir recently revealed the wicket he enjoys taking the most.

In a sports show named Sports Room, he was asked a question to which he replied Rohit Sharma.

"Who is the batsman that you are always keen to dismiss?” He was asked.

“There are lots, but that has to be Rohit Sharma," Amir answered.

The duo rivalry goes back to 27th February 2016, when Amir dismissed the Indian hitman for a 2-ball duck.

Two teams were due to face each other again, this time in a World T20 encounter at Kolkata on 9th March 2016. The focus shifted towards Amir again as he was the talk of the town after brilliant spell in the Asia Cup three weeks earlier.

However, the indian opener labelled Amir as a normal bowler a day prior to that encounter

"Stop talking about him already. He isn't the only bowler, Pakistan have five other bowlers who are doing well for them," he said of Amir.

"There is just so much hype around him, I don't think it is right to give him too much hype after one match," he added.

It didnt effect the Pakistani bowler as he again got the better of Rohit but the Indians had the last laught, winning by 6 wickets.

Fast forward to 2017, the two nations were up against each other in arguably the biggest game in years as they fought for Champions Trophy 2017 title.

The left-arm bowler again dismissed Rohit Sharma and also accounted for Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhiwan as Pakistan got hold of the trophy in some style, winning by a big margin of 180 runs.

Amir responded in a respectful way to comments made by the Indian a year ago.

"That was his opinion about me and he is entitled to that opinion. Maybe his opinion about me has now changed. But let’s get one thing clear, I would never call him an ordinary batsman,” Mohammad Amir said.

"In fact, I would call him an extraordinary batsman. His record for India is superb and I respect him. His opinions about other cricketers are up to him, but with all due respect I never worry about what other cricketers have to say about me," he added.

Amir has dismissed the Indian talisman three times since his return from spot fixing ban and add to that the exchanges between them, no wonder its the wicket the Pakistani pacer enjoys the most.
