Virat Kohli and Kesrick Williams are having a battle of their own among the bigger battle between the two countries on the field of play.

It all started in 2017 in a one-off T20 game at Jamaica when Kohli was striking it really well to Kesrick Williams but a change of pace from the West Indian did the trick as Kohli holed out at mid-on and what followed next was something Kohli never forgot.

Williams took out an imaginary notebook and wrote down Kohli’s dismissal which obviously didn’t well with the Indian captain. West Indies won that one-off T20 game by 9 wickets. Kohli nonetheless kept that in mind and when the moment came he duly gave it back and in full.

India required 92 off 44 when Williams got closer to Kohli while the Indian batsman was taking a single and that irked Kohli. However, from that moment Kohli went berserk and Williams was at the end of most of it.

Kohli was 39 off 30 when that incident happened, his next 55 came off only 20 deliveries. What is special about that is Kohli hit William’s intended yorker over long on for a flat-six with just a flick of his wrist and to make it spicy, he did an impression of Williams’s notebook celebration and let everyone know, who the real king out there is.

Kohli signed off by hitting Williams for 2 brilliant sixes over extra cover to finish the game and remind everyone of his name by tapping up on the back of his shirt, where his name was written.

Kohli on his notebook celebration in the post-match interview, “Play hard, but respect the opponent.”

If you are wondering if this was the end of it all? YOU ARE WRONG! The second T20 took place two days later and the rivalry continued between these two sportsmen.

In the second T20I, Williams got the better of the Indian Captain as Virat couldn’t guide a short ball and was caught at short third man, allowing Williams to take revenge, which he followed up with a ‘shush’ celebration. The celebration Williams did is a trademark Kohli's celebration.

The two teams go into the decider level at 1-all, with final T20I to be played on December 11. Will the war of gestures continue when they face off again in the 3rd T20I? Who will come out on top? Will it be King Kohli or will Williams have the last laugh between the two.
