Former Test Captain, Ramiz Raja is not happy with the team Pakistan is taking to Australia to tackle the Baggy Greens. He says Pakistan have absolutely no chance of winning in Australia.

“I can already tell you that with this bowling attack, we have absolutely no chance [of winning] in Australia. We should have gone with the intention to win in Australia rather than just to give them a fight.”

He further adds that the bowling lineup has neither head nor tail and you cannot rely on an all-out young attack for the Australian tour. You need bowlers who can take 20 wickets in a test match.

He specifically questions the selection of Naseem Shah - 16 year old and Mohammad Musa - 18 year old.

“On what basis have you selected a 16 and a 18-year-old thinking they will become world beaters when they don’t know what line and length to bowl in Australia.”

He says this never happened before that teenagers were touring Australia and added that you can give a chance to one young player but basing your whole attack is not on.

“It is understandable to give chances to youngsters in T20s, but you can’t take such big risks in Test cricket.”

He says losing in Australia will bring Pakistan cricket further down and that won’t bode well with the fans and we will be made fun of.

“Commentators like Ian Chappell already suggest that Australia should stop inviting Pakistan due to our past performances Down Under. Another defeat in Australia will not be acceptable to fans and will take Pakistan cricket further down.”
