Pakistan's former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed feels that Men in Green will have an upper hand on arch-rivals India when the two teams meet in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022.

The 35-year-old made these remarks while talking to the media. "Pakistan knows the condition very well because we have played PSL here and many home series as well. Yes, India has played in IPL here but they don't have that much experience of playing in these conditions," said Sarfaraz.

Ahmed also stated that Babar Azam and his men will be confident to beat India again after their 10-wicket win in the T20 World Cup last year at the same venue.

"Our first game is against India. Definitely, our morale would be higher because when we met the last time, Pakistan defeated India at the same venue," said Ahmed.

The wicket-keeper batter also urged the management to take care of Shaheen Afridi's injury as he is a vital cog in Pakistan's bowling setup.

Pakistan will take on India in Group A encounter on August 28 at Dubai International Stadium.
