Pakistan's Test opener Shan Masood appeared in a video conference where he interacted with the media personnel and took their questions regarding his career, Pakistan Cricket and Multan Sultans.

Masood was asked about his transformation as a batsman and he credited the domestic structure of Pakistan and stated that he played a lot of domestic cricket during his omission from the national team and during this period, he has worked a lot on the flaws in his batting.

"You can be exposed very early in international cricket and you can't survive for too long with so many flaws in your batting. I had a lot of flaws when I was dropped in 2016 after England tour and since then, I have worked extremely hard to overcome those flaws in my batting," he said.

Masood was also asked about his experience with the Multan Sultans and his substantial performance as a T20 player and as a captain of the side.

"I was very fortunate because I was surrounded by a plethora of qualified people in the camp of Sultans. When you have so much experience inside the dressing room, your job as a captain becomes easier," Masood added.

Shan stated that the reason behind his improved white-ball cricket is that he played a lot of limited-overs cricket domestically and he also represented Pakistan A on a couple of tours.

"I have to say that we undermine our domestic cricket a lot. I played my white-ball cricket regularly for a couple of years and it helped me improve in the shorter format as well," Masood said.
