1. Pakistan won by 55 runs, Kolkata 2016

Pakistan and Bangladesh clashed in the Super 10 stage in the World T20 of 2016. Batting first, the supposedly brittle Pakistani batting line clobbered a meager Bangladesh bowling attack. Ahmad Shahzad and Mohammad Hafeez built up a solid platform at the start and perfectly set up the theme for a Shahid Afridi bashing display at the rear end of the innings. Pakistan accelerated to a massive 201 runs, thanks to regular contributions throughout the batting order.

In reply, Bangladesh suffered an early blow in their hopes of chasing down this gargantuan total as Mohammad Amir struck in his very first over for the seventh time in his T20I career. The trio of Pakistani pacers, Amir, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Irfan, bowled with rapid pace and unfaltering accuracy. Bangladeshi batsmen were sucker punched and cramped under the pressure and this gave Afridi the room to sneak through their defenses and deprive them of any reprieve. Halfway through the chase, Bangladesh had already lost hope as they stuttered to 146/6 in at the end of their 20 overs.

2. Bangladesh won by 7 wickets, Dhaka 2015

The Bengali Tigers continued their unexpected domination over Pakistan during the year 2015 when they sealed their first ever T20 triumph against the Greenshirts after handing them a humiliating whitewash in the ODI series earlier. After deciding to bat first, Pakistan put up an ugly display with the bat and just couldn't seem to get away with the early pressure exerted by Bangladesh. Mustafizur Rehman jagged it around at a skiddy pace and troubled Ahmed Shehzad right from the word go. Afridi promoted himself to the top order but was adjudged caught behind via a bizarre on-field decision. Pakistan stumbled to a below-par 141 in the first innings.

Bangladesh were thundered by the opening burst of Pakistani pacers as they lost both of their openers inside three overs. They were left 38 for 3 with the game in the balance when Shakib al Hasan and Sabbir Rehman came together to string up a partnership. Through crispy strokes and a touch of aggression, they regained momentum and ensured that Bangladesh aced their chase without any more hiccups. The two registered compact fifties and saw their team home in what proved to be a fairly relaxed run chase at the end.

3. Bangladesh won by 5 wickets, Dhaka 2016

Pakistan's disastrous campaign in the Asia Cup 2016 came to a close defeat against the home-side in a low-scoring thriller at Dhaka. Batting first, Pakistan's batsmen once again failed to deliver as their top-order crumbled in front of some tight bowling. Taskin Ahmed and Al-Amin Hossain were terrific with the ball as they made the most of the absence of Mustafizur. Pakistan were left reeling at 34 for 4 at the end of the first ten overs of the game. Sarfraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik then joined hands in the rebuilding phase and took Pakistan to a rather respectable 129.

Bangladesh were pegged back early in the chase as Tamim Iqbal succumbed to Irfan's pace. The hosts had to survive Amir's storming spell from the other end who clattered Soumya Sarkar's leg-stump in his 2nd spell, later in the day. The game very much in the balance for a majority portion of the run-chase before Mahmudullah walked in and played a precious cameo in the latter half. The fortunes tilted and despite some brain fades from their batsmen, Bangladesh managed to cruise home with five balls to spare and sealed a berth in the final of the Asia Cup.
